1985 Dolphin 16 Back Country

Dolphin 16 flats boat completely rebuilt in 2018/2019. The boat was taken down to the hull, new stringers, transom and deck using lightweight composites, biaxial fiberglass and epoxy. Boat finished with Alexseal products.

The boat is Carolina Blue and Cloud White. New poling platform with teak sole, pole and removable pole holders. New hatches installed, mini insulated coffin box that is plumbed for livewell, or can be used as cooler or storage, MinnKota trolling motor with quick release, power pole, Lenco trim tabs, New 12gal Fuel Tank, and Blue Seas Automatic Charging Relay that charges trolling motor battery underway

The boat is powered by a BRAND NEW 2018 70 hp Yamaha 4 stroke with less than 100 hours and warranty till 11/2024.

Includes a totally rebuilt 5 Starr trailer (new axles, hubs, tires, bunks, keel rollers, winch, jack and fenders painted to match boat).

This boat is lighter, stronger, faster, a lot prettier and functional than new. The Dolphin 16 is a stable boat due to its wide beam. It was constructed with bonefishing in mind. It has a slight vee that makes it ride amazingly well for its size-no pounding. It jumps onto plane instantly and is a fun boat to run.
